Do you have a broad interest in technology and would you like to be involved in application development from start to finish? Then a Challengership at PwC ITS is really for you. ITS is the internal IT organization of PwC Netherlands. They develop and test all the systems and applications that PwC’s more than 5,000 employees in the Netherlands work with every day. So important work!
You will learn all about Microsoft365 and the Microsoft Power platform at PwC ITS, with a focus on Power Apps and Power Automate.
But who are we and what exactly do we offer? We are Young_Coders. Partner with PwC to recruit, train and mentor tech talent. We are your entry point to PwC. With Young_Coders, you can work at PwC without having to know everything right away. After all, you’re going to learn a lot! PwC works with us under the motto “Hire attitude, teach skills.”

A Challengership at PwC is challenging, motivating and above all, very educational. You will be working on a variety of applications. You will create technical designs based on input from the product owner and stakeholders within PwC, and then build an application completely ‘from scratch’, or develop new features for existing applications. And you’ll do all this in small scrum teams, with fellow developers, testers and analysts.
What will you learn?
- Develop in Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate);
- Work in a professional IT team;
In addition, you will receive a comprehensive soft skills training, including:

- Soft skills two-day program with overnight stay;
- Individual progress and goals meetings;
- Soft skills exercises and training for 5 months with one class each month.
Notice:
This Challengership involves one position, with very specific training details. That’s why you don’t go through the regular Young_Coders bootcamp here, but a customized program that consists mainly of a number of e-learning courses. The soft skills training is physical, though; you’ll attend it with other Challengers.
Application criteria
Sounds good doesn’t it? But when will you be eligible for this Challengership at PwC?
- You have a bachelor or masters degree;
- You already have some basic programming knowledge;
- Experience with for example Power BI or Microsoft 365 is of course also welcome, but not manditory;
- You have an interest in the world of PwC (accountancy, finance, consultancy);
- You are at the beginning of your working career (graduated max 3. years ago);
- You speak and write English well;
- You live in the Netherlands and may work here for at least 3 years;
- You are eager to learn and want to kickstart your career at PwC!
